PLANT CLINIC DAY
A Plant clinic is a designated place operated by plant doctors who offer advice on a regular basis to farmers on crop pest and disease management. Through plant clinics, farmers access plant health advisory services that are specific to their individual problems occurring in their respective fields. These clinics are particularly helpful for smallholder farmers who might not have access to agricultural extension services byfilling a gap in knowledge access.
ATSI-Uganda conducted a Plant Clinic Day on the 31st April 2024 at the ATSI grounds. The event attracted a number of farmers from around Soroti City West especially those in Majengo, Lale and other surrounding areas.
